Driving a dirty vehicle in France can result in a fine; washing your car during a period of drought or a heatwave is strictly prohibited and can also result in a fine.

So what are we supposed to do? In France, we pay, whatever the circumstances, with no way out.

Yet, whatever the season or circumstances, government vehicles are always sparkling clean.

When will our elected officials be fined, with the amount deducted from their salaries? That could be a new source of savings.
